the Prancing Wizard

February 22, 2023 by Gabe Leave a Comment

A soft cocktail with an exotic twist, the Prancing Wizard is perfect for those who want to try something new and exciting. Bold and refreshing, step outside the box with us and enjoy this new and intriguing cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 oz ginger syrup (recipe below)
  • 1 oz cardamom syrup (recipe below)
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz club soda
  • Orange slice and a sprinkle of cardamom for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

In a shaker, add the orange juice, ginger syrup, cardamom syrup, and lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for about 10 seconds. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top up the glass with club soda and stir gently. Garnish with an orange slice and a sprinkle of cardamom.

The combination of sweet and tart flavors from the orange and lemon, balanced with the warm and spicy notes from the ginger and cardamom syrups, creates a drink that is both bold and refreshing. Adding a touch of carbonation, the club soda makes the mouthfeel lively and effervescent. The orange slice and cardamom garnish not only add a pop of color but also enhance the exotic flavors of the drink.
